3rd September 2024 - RASCAL RETURNS

Good afternoon everyone, 

Our Exacta / forecast selections  finished no less than second and third - no complaints, just a little fed up of being the nearly man - due a bit of luck but it's true what they say - in racing you find your own luck!

Onto Tuesday and BRAZEN RASCAL tonight (7:45 at Newcastle, priced in places at 20/1 as I write this - 4 places freely available) is interesting.

Although his form this season on turf is no great shakes at all, he's back on the tapeta where he's performed admirably off significant higher marks than the basement 51 he will run off now - the lowest of his short career. 

In his last couple of runs at Newcastle in 2023 (4th of 11 and 5th of 12) he was really getting the hang of things and I think he could continue his progress on the surface and may be over-priced as it stands.

I am backing him to grab a place for us.
